A wonderful game will attract children as well as elderly
people.
For the first time croquet was mentioned in Ireland in the 17th
century. Very soon this game ‘conquered’ the whole Britain and
became a privilege of aristocracy. In the 19th century there was
a revival of the game and it became a mass phenomenon. Some time
later it reached other European countries and America.
Croquet is played on a lawn and its some features are similar to
golf. Each player uses a wooden mallet to knock the balls
through a series of hoops. The game is very democratic –
different rules as well as different lawns are possible
depending on the wish and professional experience of the
players.
We have two lawns of continental croquet and you can also play
extreme croquet. Here you can get all necessary implements of
the game. It is not just a game, we promise you!
